The Alliant Energy Powerhouse in downtown Cedar Rapids has been busy this week with the Iowa Girls State Volleyball Tournament in action. Several local schools are playing for a shot at a state title!
In Class 5A Cedar Falls has advanced to the title game to face Pleasant Valley. In Class 4A Western Dubuque plays Waverly-Shell Rock in tomorrow’s 4A championship. West Delaware will battle West Liberty in 3A, In Class 2A Dike-New Hartford and Denver face each other in the semi-finals. And in Class 1A Springville plays North Tama for the right to move to the championship.
