Let me start by saying that I didn’t quite know what to expect with my first 4th Street Cruise.  I’d heard good things, but what I experienced was well beyond anything I’d heard.  It wasn’t just a “Cruise”, it was a community finally able to get together after the toughest year any of us can remember.  The 39th Annual 4th Street Cruise was an amazing community event!  The sun was shining, as well as the classic cars and the smile on every face I met.

14 months after moving to Iowa, I finally saw what an awesome community we have.  Meeting our KOKZ community of listeners was my favorite part.  Thanks to all who came to our tent to say hello.  Good to finally meet, the Steamboat Rocker and his wife Ren, my favorite Hawaiian now living in Iowa, Kahele (I call her the HawaiIowan), Rick, Dick, Mary, Chuck, A-Ron, Trucker Ron, Trucker Steve, no Trucker Todd yet…he remains elusive.

Thank you all for welcoming me into this great community, I’m so glad to be here!!!  Check out some pics of the people and cars I was so impressed with.
