Written by Lennon – McCartney, Tiffany covered the song and change the “Her” lyric to “Him” and it went Top 10!
Pop Queen of the mall circuit in the late 80s, Tiffany had some big hits from her debut album, ‘Tiffany’.
“I Saw Him Standing There” was the third single released, following “Could’ve Been” (#1) and “I Think We’re Alone Now” (a cover of Tommy James & The Shondells that also topped the chart) and gave her three Top 10 singles with this one peaking at #7 in 1988!
