Laid Back – White Horse
Like many A-side singles that were meant to be a hit, but were flipped over and the B-side hit instead, Laid Back released “Sunshine Reggae” all over the world. It became a major hit in many European countries.
In the U.S., DJs flipped it over and “White Horse” ended up charting. So Laid Back released it as a single here and it spent 3 weeks at #1 on the Dance Chart. It climbed the Hot 100 and peaked at #26 in 1984!
