Released at the end of 1969, founding member, Brian Jones was fired during these sessions due to his heavy drug use and unreliability. He played on two of the tracks and Mick Taylor was brought in and eventually joined the band. Jones died less than a month later.

This album is considered by many critics as well as Stones fans to be one of the best of the band’s catalog. It’s on Rolling Stone Magazines 500 Greatest Albums of All Time and was inducted into the Grammy Hall of Fame. This pressing is the 180 gram, 50th Anniversary edition released in 2019. It sounds FANTASTIC!
