My mother and I were talking over the weekend about a traumatic memory from Christmas past. I was 5 or 6, woke up on Christmas morning and under the tree seemed to be a million presents. My little brother and I charged toward the tree, ready to open the presents we wanted most. I kept unwrapping present after present, but the one thing I really wanted wasn’t there! All I wanted was a Gumby. I didn’t get one and lost it. My mom had gone out, looking everywhere for one but couldn’t find it. I remember saying, “Amazon didn’t even have it?” To which my mother replied, “sorry honey, Amazon won’t exist for a couple more decades.” That last bit may or may not be true, I do however know that I wasn’t the only kid ever disappointed on Christmas. Let’s go to the video!
